Parents are wonderful

My parents came down the day after I had Abigail and they were such a delight to have around. Being a new mom is NEW, but having a veteran one around certainly helped.

Here are a few pictures from their visit.

Boston Red Sox Fan

Rangers Fan???

Last night we put this outfit on our daughter and she wouldn't stop crying. Guess she's not a Rangers Fan. She must be a Boston Red Sox Fan like her Aunt Amanda. :)

Finally after 2 minutes of crying she consoled herself by finding her thumb...

Presenting the Star of the Show...

Miss Abigail Black!!!
(polite applause)

What do you need to know about this talented girl?

• She was born October 19, 2009 2:40 am at St. Rose De Lima Hospital in Henderson, NV

• She weighed 9 lbs 6 oz (GASP!) and 21.5 inches long

• Her favorite color is green (there is still some debate between the experts on this important tidbit)

• She is one gorgeous baby

People are requesting pictures of the emerging star so here are some photos from the rare sightings of Abigail Linn and her exceptional family.

Yeahhh! They checked me in. Time to get to work.

Stupid contraction.

Contraction done. That was easy!

Holy @*%#!!! GET HER OUT!

A star is born.

Isn't it funny how my managers can't help smiling while I'm around.

They know I'm going to be a huge money maker.

Cool Abby in da' house... er hospital.

Profile picture for modeling career.

Contact Mom and Pop for scheduling employment interviews.

The girls take a brake from all that hard work.

Time for me to go.

It was well worth it.

T -10, 9, 8 ...

A quick post to let everyone know that Abigail is ready for takeoff. We are now admitted into the De Lima hospital after Heather's water broke at 8am. They have an awesome computer terminal in the room so we can keep you updated on the progress.

POTTY MOUTH!!!!

So Holy Smokes!!! I have been having some really odd dreams as of late and I am sure you are all dying to hear about one of them. (Sarcasm intended)

To preface this whole story I have to admit to one and all that when I was little I had a potty-mouth sometimes.

In the dream, I went into labor and everything was going just fine. I was handling the contractions with ease. Suddenly, the contractions got worse and worse and Adam started making jokes. I was thinking to myself why is he making jokes at a time like this? He just kept making joke after joke until suddenly I swore up a storm at him and basically told him to be quiet in a potty-mouth manner. He was fueled by my potty-mouth and his jokes got worse. I woke up at that point, thank goodness!! Who knows what I would have said next.

I just hope that my childhood tendencies will not come back during LABOR. Wish me luck!!!HAS ANY ELSE HAD SUCH CRAZY DREAMS?

THIS IS ME PREGNANT, ANY QUESTIONS

I really don't like pictures of me pregnant to be honest, but I am posting one that I just barely took on the camera phone.

ENJOY!!

Kinda looks like I stuffed a basketball up my shirt!!

Luscious Lips Black

I have been severely chastised for my lack of blogging. So I decided it was time show off our little one.

I like to call her luscious lips as shown in the following picture.

Adam thinks I shouldn't call her luscious lips because she might end up a hooker. Just teasing!

When the doctor came in he said, "Wow your kid has got a forest on her head and it looks like she has her dad's lips."

Here is a picture of her feet. For some odd reason they gave this one to us and we thought we'd share.

These infamous feet have been kicking me like crazy.

We are so excited for Abigail Linn to arrive and nervous all in one breath.

Any advice would be much appreciated!
